Description

Join with the other Top of the South Tramping Clubs (Waimea, Marlborough, Motueka, Golden Bay & Nelson) for a weekend of tramping and social interaction based in St Arnaud. The plan is to meet at Rotoiti Lodge Outdoor Education Centre which will be our base for the 2 days. It has a full kitchen, hot showers and bunk beds Cost $43/person (BYO Sleeping Bag).

There will be a choice of tramps on Saturday and Sunday, with a shared Pot-Luck dinner on Saturday night. Nelson Tramping club members to contribute to the shared dinner by sharing a pot luck dessert.

In the evening there will be a quizz and games/ activities.

Planned Tramps:

Saturday: Lakehead hut - Easy Med and Parachute rocks + extended to ridge if wanted Med - Fit

Sunday: Coldwater hut - Easy-Med and Teatree Mountain bike trails (poor weather option) and / or Bushline circuit + Christie ridge (snow option) - Med Fit

Registration

It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor). The Leader will need to be confident that you have the experience, fitness and the correct gear to complete the trip successfully. :-)
